Mary Teresa Murphy, a beloved mother and grandmother from Dublin, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024, at the age of 82.
Mum was known for her warmth, generosity, and strong sense of family. She raised three children and adored her seven grandchildren, always ready with a kind word and a warm meal. Her home was a gathering place filled with love, laughter, and the smell of fresh baking.
A lifelong resident of Dublin, Mary was a quiet presence in her community—always willing to help, always putting others first. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Favourite Memories
One of my favourite memories of Granny Mary is her Sunday lunches. Every week, the whole family crammed into her kitchen, the smell of roast lamb and apple tart filling the house. She’d be humming away, completely in her element.
It wasn’t just the food—it was the feeling. No matter what kind of week you had, sitting at her table made everything better. She had a way of making you feel completely loved, just by being herself.
