Biography

‘Paddy’ was born in Derrynoose in 1920 he was the son of Mary Ann & John Murray. He had 1 sister Sadie and 3 brothers, John, Frank, Brian and Kevin. Kevin is the only remaining relative and resides in County Antrim. Paddy began farming at a very young age and inherited a real talent for it. He was often called upon day or night with in the farming community to offer his expertise especially when an animal was in distress. He passed his knowledge and expertise to his Nephew Gerard who still to this day keeps the family tradition alive.
